‘Feed & Mulch’ is a three-in-one soil conditioning, fertilising mulch cover that increases:
- soil moisture retention,
- humus development and
- soil bio-diversity
Made from a range of composted animal manures, worm castings, lucerne hay, natural urea and wood shavings. King Poo ‘Feed & Mulch’ is naturally made without the use of chemicals or sprays. Great for all plant and soil types and full of natural goodness for your vegies, too!

Regular, twice yearly, applications of King Poo ‘feed & mulch’ over several years ensures a robust soil bank
essential to healthy, resilient plant growth – after which an annual application will usually keep the balance
Established Beds
- Lay 5-6cm blanket cover over entire bed, leaving ‘air’ room around plant trunks.
- Approx. one bag per square metre
Prepare New Beds
- Dig in one bag per 1.5 square metres of soil.
- Water bed every few days while the bed rests for two weeks before planting.
Full of life and nutrients...
- Apply blanket mulch cover to bed after planting. Reduce quantities by two thirds for native garden beds
Regenerate Old Beds
- Dig in one bag per 1.5 square metres of soil.
- Water bed and allow to rest for two weeks before planting.
- Apply blanket mulch cover to bed after planting.
- Reduce quantities by two thirds for native garden beds.
Over Lawns
- Broadcast 1 bag per 5m2 over lawns and water in over several weeks to feed and condition the soil that sustains the lawn

‘SupaPoo’ – is made from high grade worm castings to inject an immediate, bolster dose of nutrient and microbial goodness into soils and plants (suitable for non-native
plantings only)
Established Tubs and Pots
- Add 2cm layer of ‘SupaPoo’ to soil surface and cover with three cm layer of ‘Feed & Mulch’.
- Water well and repeat twice yearly.
New Tubs and Pots
- Mix together three parts soil, two parts ‘Feed & Mulch’ and one part ‘SupaPoo’.
The bags are poured on to the garden beds...
- Water and plant.
Planting Out
- Add 20% of pot volume of plant to bottom of hole prior to planting out.
Growth Bolster
To provide instant, added nutrition to heavy feeders like vegies and roses, to help new plants establish or even nurse ailing plants.
- Lay 3cm of ‘SupaPoo’ over the root zone, water well and blanket cover with 3 cm of ‘Feed & Mulch’.
- Repeat monthly for as long as needed.
Soil Booster
To get the nutritional, microbial status of garden soil rocketing.
- ‘Seed’ the soil with ‘SupaPoo’ – one litre per square metre before applying your ‘Feed & Mulch’ blanket cover.
For Lawns
- Broadcast over lawns, one bag per 4m2, and water in every second day over eight days to provide immediate nutrition to lawns of all types
and spread around the trunks and stems
